Terms of Service
Effective August 13, 2026
Welcome to Kayty. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kayty website and services at kayty.kr (the “Service”), operated by Kayty (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Kayty is
Kayty is a beauty content platform. You can browse skincare routines, products, and brands, join community discussions such as votes, polls, comments, and takes, and create and share your own routines.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old — or older, if the law where you live requires a higher minimum age — to create an account.
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the My page. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create on Kayty (routines, comments, takes, poll opinions, photos, and similar). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resizing an image or generating a link preview), display, and share that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. This license continues for copies made while your content was public (for example, remixes), even after you delete the content or your account.
- Content you publish (public routines, comments, takes) is visible to anyone, including people without an account.
- Publishing also lets other users interact with your content within the Service — for example, saving your routine or remixing it into their own version.
- Deleting content or making it private stops new access, but copies that were made while it was public (such as a remix of your routine) may remain.
- Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, deceptive, or spam.
- Do not post misleading health or safety claims about products or ingredients.
- We may hide or remove content that violates these Terms, and may suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email kayty.dev@gmail.com with a link to the content and a short description, and we will review it and take appropriate action. You can use the same address to report content you believe is otherwise illegal or violates these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service — no scraping at scale, automated abuse, circumventing rate limits, probing security, or impersonating others.
- Do not use the Service to advertise without our permission, or to manipulate votes, polls, or rankings.
5. Products, purchase links, and sponsored content
- Kayty does not sell products. Purchase links take you to external retailers; your purchase is solely between you and that retailer, and we are not responsible for third-party sites, prices, or products.
- Some content may be sponsored. Sponsored content is labeled as such.
- Product information may differ by region or change over time — always check the official product label before use.
6. AI-assisted information
Some product details on Kayty are prepared with the help of AI research and are labeled (for example, “Beta”). We review this information, but it may contain errors or become outdated. It is provided for reference only — the manufacturer’s official information always takes precedence.
7. Kayty’s content
The Service — including its design, text, editorial content, and software — is owned by Kayty or its licensors. You may share links to Kayty content, but do not copy, republish, or commercially exploit the Service’s content without our permission.
8. Ending or changing the Service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service as it evolves. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including outcomes of using products or routines found on Kayty. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give notice on the Service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you live in a country whose mandatory consumer-protection law grants you additional rights, those rights are not affected by this choice. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions about these Terms: kayty.dev@gmail.com.
